Pure Mule takes place in a market town in the midlands, neither urban nor rural, a frontier land between the old and the new. The six part series revolves around the lives of Shamie, Scobie, Kevin, Therese, Deirdre and Jennifer. Each episode focuses on one of the characters for one weekend.
